Purpose:

To recognize outstanding contributions to fisheries and the conservation of Nebraska’s aquatic resources by an individual or a citizens group.

Criteria:

Substantial or long term contribution to fisheries and aquatic resources.

Specifications and Limitations:

1. Individuals not employed in the fisheries or aquatic biology profession.
2. A single award will generally be given each year except in exceptional cases.
3. Only Nebraska Chapter AFS members in good standing can make nominations.
