Greetings Nebraska American Fisheries Society Members,

Registration is now open for the upcoming joint Annual Meeting of the Nebraska and Iowa Chapters of the American Fisheries Society at the Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center February 24th – 26th, 2026. Please share this with others in your organization. You are encouraged to attend and learn about the latest fisheries research and activities across both Nebraska and Iowa. This will be an In-Person Only meeting, with no virtual options available this year.

Please register through the online XCD website HERE by Tuesday February 3rd, 2026.

Notes about registration:

• Registration fees and chapter dues shall be paid via XCD prior to arrival.
• The registration refund deadline is Tuesday February 3rd, 2026 
• Registration will cover the conference sessions and meals.
  • Professionals $130 (plus $10 chapter dues) = $140
  • Students $105 (plus $5 chapter dues) = $110

 

Call for presentations:

• Due Friday, January 16th, 2026 
• General Session: 20 min. presentation – open to anyone, student or professional 
• Poster Session: 45 min session – open to anyone, student or professional 
• Please provide abstract/summaries for presentations or posters about your latest fisheries research, past projects, water resources, etc. Students, conservation professionals, researchers, biologists, and all others are welcome! Please send 1) presenter’s name, 2) session type, 3) title, 4) affiliation, and 5) abstract (250 word max) to XCDLink HERE!!! Reach out with any questions to joseph.spooner@nebraska.gov or rebecca.munter@nebraska.gov
